The “Doomsday Clock”, a famous metaphorical clock for which midnight represents the end of the world, was invented by the scientists of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists in 1947.
Set at 23:53 on its first day, it has since moved 23 times, reaching 90 seconds to midnight in January 2023
Protecting the planet we all live in is a responsibility we cannot deny
We are all

Adamantia Group and the brands it represents endeavour to share the values of Dell Technologies in terms of environment, social and governance matters (ESG)
We strongly believe technology can be used to bring a positive impact on the economy and society.
How we are working to make our technology more sustainable
For many years already, Dell products have been designed to reduce the environmental impact without affecting performance and security

Energy Efficiency
Old technologies are constantly power-hungry and you are paying the bill
Long-term goals
By 2030
0%

for each purchased product we will reuse or recycle an equivalent product by 2030
By

we will meet net-zero carbon footprint and reach the highest level of sustainability
Circular Economy
E-Waste? No, thank you.
Electronic waste represents one of the main waste factors: until 2020 only 17,4% of electronic components were documented as taken in charge and recycled correctly.
Implications are not just environmental though, but also financial. The amount of non-recycled iron, copper, gold and other precious minerals, goes up to 57 billion dollars.
Circular
Design
Dell Technologies strives to apply design standards which could reduce the amount of components used and the assembly complexity in order to make repairs, reuse and recycling easier.
RECYCLED MATERIALS WE USE
Recycled aluminium from old hard disks
–
Carbon fibre from the aerospace industry
–
Recovered ocean-bound plastic
–
Post-consumer recycled plastic like water bottles and disposable objects
RENEWABLE MATERIALS WE USE
Resin bioplastics: waste product from the paper industry
–
Caster oil-based bio-rubber
–
Recycled paper and corrugated cardboard, bamboo and sugar cane waste
All of this happens because of the quality controls we extend to all the Dell production process, but also to non-direct or associated emissions made by our suppliers, business travel and transportation of our products
